My journey with First Bus began four years ago as a Bus Driver, a role that gave me a real appreciation for our customers, colleagues, and the vital service we provide to our communities every day. Wanting to support others and share my experience, I progressed into a Driver Mentor position, helping new drivers build their confidence, skills, and careers within the business.

Today, as a Regional Learning Coordinator, I have the privilege of supporting learning and development across the region, working with colleagues at all stages of their careers. Developing people and helping them succeed is something I genuinely enjoy, and it is one of the most rewarding aspects of my role.

Outside of training and development, I am passionate about colleague wellbeing. I have recently been given the opportunity to become both a Mental Health First Aider and Money First Aider, allowing me to offer additional support to colleagues who may be facing challenges inside work and outside. Having benefited from the support and opportunities First Bus has provided throughout my own career, I am committed to giving back by helping others feel supported, valued, and able to achieve their full potential.
