Sarita Coleman is an HR professional with more than 20 years’ experience in the not-for-profit sector, spanning both operational and strategic leadership roles. Throughout her career, she has been passionate about the power of reward and recognition to enhance employee engagement, support organisational performance, and foster positive workplace cultures.

In January 2025, Sarita joined the British Heart Foundation as Head of Reward and Recognition, where she leads the development and delivery of reward strategies that align with and support the charity’s values, purpose and ambitions.

Prior to joining the British Heart Foundation, Sarita held reward-focused roles at both the RSPCA and the Institute of Cancer Research, building extensive expertise across a range of people and reward disciplines.

She holds a degree in Statistics and Geography and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD, demonstrating her ongoing commitment to professional excellence and best practice in human resources.
