
Dr Antonia Dietmann is an experienced HR leader working at the heart of UK government applying behavioural science to major change and development programmes. She is a Fellow and Chartered member of the British Psychological Society with over 15 years’ experience in three central government departments. Antonia is currently Head of Organisation & Behaviour Development at the Ministry of Justice. The team delivers culture, leadership, and behavioural development in support of some of the most challenging public service roles in the justice sector. This follows on from her role as Head of People Capability at HM Courts & Tribunals Service supporting employees through the largest reform of the courts system in history.
Early roles researching workplace bullying and harassment impressed upon Antonia the negative impact of working relationships gone wrong. As such, she is passionate about the fundamental need for meaningful, high-quality work relationships as a key driver of successful business outcomes. This focus continued in her 2019 doctorate on the power of chatting at work to facilitate workplace relationship building. Podcast link.
Well regarded in the UK Occupational Psychology community, Antonia has won a number of awards including the British Psychological Society’s prestigious Practitioner Occupational Psychologist of the Year award in 2017 and she is a previous Chair of the Division of Occupational Psychology.
